General Hospital Spoilers 1/23/23
Here’s a sneak peek at Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital (Weekdays on ABC, Weeknights on Hulu) complete with spoilers directly from the network. Find out what’s coming up on GH, what recently happened, and what’s going on now by checking back here daily. I plan to make a General Hospital Spoilers post as often as I can.
Who’s in Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital?
Before I get into the spoilers, here are the characters explicitly mentioned in the spoilers for the episode of General Hospital airing on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
While there may be other residents of Port Charles appearing in this episode, these are the only character I can confirm from the episode summaries provided by the network.

Top Row From Left: Dex (Evan Hofer), Laura Collins (Genie Francis) Valentin Cassidine (James Patrick Stuart), and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Bottom row from left: Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) Nikolas Cassidine (Marcus Coloma) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
I hope you all enjoy the graphics I make for the spoilers- I love making them. Scroll down to check out the Instagram Reel I made for Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital- it’s got all the spoilers too!

ABC’s official description for Tuesday’s episode previewed the following (which you can see in the video above):
Sonny presses Dex. Nikolas makes his case. Laura is there for Liz. Anna and Valentin do some exploring. Josslynn makes a big request.
Stay out of the freezer! Sonny presses Dex.

Sonny presses Dex…up against… Michael? I wish, but GH would never be that awesome. But Sonny is going to put the screws to Dex in Tuesday’s episode- most likely about the Hook attack on New Year’s Eve.
If you assumed Sonny would be grateful Dex saved his stepdaughter from the Hook- you’d be wrong. Dex already saved both Ava (the mother of Sonny’s many children) and Diane (the lawyer who’s kept him from living Cyrus Renault’s life in prison).
Sonny showed his gratitude by beating Dex, locking the boy in a freezer, and letting a strange dude poke him with knives for an entire weekend. But that’s not nearly as bad as…
‘Spoiled’ Alert: Josslynn makes a big request.

… what Joss did to Cam on Monday. Now let me get personal for a minute- I’ve been both people in this situation. Losing your best friend is painful enough, knowing they moved on with somebody by catching them together- I’ve been there. I’ve even gotten the same “why are you here???” response. It’s awful.
I have also fallen out of love, never wanting to end things with a partner who became more of a friend and yet finding myself pulled away towards something new. You want it so bad that you end up being a total asshole over it.
Joss was within her rights to say whatever she wanted- but it also was brutal. I can guarantee that Cam would have preferred being beaten and poked with knives.
As for Joss’ big request- it shouldn’t be asked of Cameron. At least not right now.
Where is Child Protective Services? Nikolas makes his case.

And exactly what case is Nikolas trying to make on today’s episode of General Hospital? As ridiculous as it sounds, it’s the case for fatherhood.
“I slept with my teenage son’s teenage girlfriend then locked her in a tower for months when I realized I impregnated her” is not exactly something you expect to hear from a good parent.
But even ignoring Nikolas’ momentary lapse in judgment followed by months of moral turpitude- he’s just a shitty dad. Dude, your son faced incarceration twice this year. Nikolas couldn’t even succeed at being an enabler for his son. Who sends their kid to boarding school then lets them go to jail twice? What kind of 1 percent is this man?
Nikolas is going to have to figure out another way to get his baby- one outside the confines of the legal system.
General Hospital Spoilers 1/23/23: Anna and Valentin do some exploring.
Sex Trip:

Anna and Valentin have already explored quite a bit in the past few months. Not least of which, has been each other’s bodies. The sexual exploration has gotten so hot that some viewers actually called and complained to the FCC. (I swear your faves could never).
Despite being framed for Lucy Coe’s murder, by that jackass Holly’s fault- the couple hasn’t lost that passion. Valentin has helped his lover evade detection by authorities all across Europe- including one night at a windmill that is rumored to have powered the Netherlands for the whole week that followed.
What does this have to do with Tuesday’s episode? I am not sure, but does it matter when every scene with Finola Hughes and James Patrick Stuart is a revelation? Here’s hoping we get the bonus of Lucy’s return soon. We miss you, Lynn Herring.

General Hospital Spoilers 1/23/23: Laura is there for Liz.
“Sorry your mom sucks”.

Liz can relate to Nikolas… sort of. I mean, Nikolas is a shitty dad, and Liz’s father is an extremely shitty dad. With Liz, all wrapped up in Nik’s bad dad drama, her mind was of her terrible parents until her estranged mother Carolyn Webber rolled up in Port Charles on Monday.
(Side note: as God-awful as this storyline has been and as terrible a person Carolyn Webber turned out to be, I enjoy Denise Crosby in the role.)
Carolyn tried as hard as she could to explain why she drugged and hypnotized a teenage Liz to cover up an accident caused by her father’s affair. That type of shit is exactly when people in Port Charles reach out to Laura Collins.
Expect Liz to feel seen and heard by her former mother-in-law in Tuesday’s episode. But will Liz tell Laura exactly what went on with Nikolas and Esme the last few months? Laura would probably rethink her response to Nikolas from Monday’s episode.
